Around 12 more hours, and I'll be back in Singapore land. It feels quite stupid wasting time here blogging, since it's just a few hours left, sigh.

I've got tanned, not burnt! (: Damai was bliss, sand without rubbish and weird stuff, the hot sun on my back while lying in the sea and having sand fights with my cousins and sisters, and the freezing water in the creek. Some parts of the Santubong mountain are really wild, it would be a wonderful place for OBS! Haha, there are those longhouses and cabins and houses on stilts deep in the forest with waterfalls and jungle pools around them, i have an urge to go there with yearmates for fun :D [plus, there are loads of wildlife there too, ie. wild monkeys, tree frogs, mudskippers and SPIDERS (:]

Went with my younger cousins on cam-whoring sessions these few days, just for the fun of it. Ended up going to the same old spots, cos there wasn't much places we could go without any of us having driving license haha, plus there were 7 of us.

Learning to drive a car from an under-aged driver is quite stupid actually, haha. But my dad refuses to teach me or let me learn to drive now D: My cousin was driving my aunt's car around the church compound yesterday for the first time, and it was super funny, although I was seriously freaked out. Lisa was freaking out outside too, haha, which made it all the more funnier; since my cousin and I consider freaking Lisa out the funniest thing on Earth, hah! In US and Australia, the legal age for driving is 16, in Malaysia it's 17, in Singapore it was 18, but it is 21[i think/heard], which is downright unfair! My mom refuses to let me drive, and I think it's supposed to be for my whole lifetime, cos she insists that it is unnecessary in Singapore [which is kind of true] plus the fact that I'm super reckless and break things easily, sigh. My dad is more concerned that I will kill loads of people and myself when i drive, huh. Which limits me to a few brands of cars, no cheap Msia/China cars haha; Volvo, Audi [(:], Mercedes Guardian to name a few haha!

It's kinda sad to think that I'm leaving in one weeks time D: Actually I don't think i would mind living here forever, besides for the fact that i don't know much BM and that I'd rather study in RG with all my friends there + yearmates (: One week is not enough time, argh cos there are so many things i haven't done here, such as crashing a lot of friends'/relatives' homes, AND watching TWILIGHT! I feel very detached here though, away from Singapore life. Still, i don't have any urge to go back! :D Damai tomorrow & wednesday, pretty pictures promised xD

I went to the first traditional wedding in my whole life this year, haha. I realised that this is like the first wedding that I've attended with one of the couple being related to me! And i realised getting married is very troublesome. Or at least sort of, but I suppose it is worth it? Or else why do people get married? I'm lazy to post, haha. There are a thousand and one things that i can post about, but haha, i'm lazy + i don't really have much time; was out from 7.30 this morning, and I've a dinner to go to later at 6pm :D So photos shall come up another day (:

Malaysia is such a pretty place (: I think i travelled almost 200km just today alone, and i think I've seen more trees today than i have seen in the whole past year.

it's great to be home :D Everything about being here just feels like home, and yeah, that feeling's nice enough until i don't really want to go back to Singapore, haha. Life here is so relaxed, like lying down on a lazy river and watching the world slowly go by, without any worries or things to stress over.

Hmmm, i'm going to enjoy these few weeks here, before going back to Singapore! And i'll try to post longer posts [which i don't usually bother to, haha], considering the number of things i have to post about [life here is better, really!] and that i have so much time and that i can go online considerably more too :D

On the plane to Kuching from Johor Bahru, we passed over Singapore. There is a very stark contrast between the two countries, even up from the air. Singapore is really a concrete jungle, so many buildings and roads all over the place, in comparison to Malaysia where there is just palm plantations after palm plantations, and acres of jungles and winding rivers. And the food here rocks, somehow it just does :D And i cut my hair, well quite short haha.

SCHOOL'S OUT! it's kind of hard to believe that the next time when we return to school, we'll be Sec4s already, like the most senior year. It didn't seem that long ago that entered RGS, and in a year's time that's the end of this journey. I really want to treasure the last year in RGS as much as possible [with my class, friends and YEARMATES<3]!

It's really sad that quite a lot of our teachers are not following us up anymore next year D: like Mr. Yang, Ms. Hou & Mr. Ben. My physics grade are going to suffer seriously!!! I think my teachers this year really played a big role in improving my grades[ and hence my highest GPA ever this term :D], cos they are AWESOME & teach wonderfully (: Hope that our teachers next year are just as good!

But it's not fair D: i gained weight AGAIN and wenjiaying didnt. HMPH!

We gave up out wonderful plan to clean up cos, hmm it was after EYAs, haha so that's was suppper anticlimax? so we ended up walking around J8 and trying not to eat other people up. Haha, cos we were starving. Then guess where we went? to the library! imagine, yearmates in the LIBRARY just after EYAs. HAHA!

Moving away from studies, my dad officially sold the house in Malaysia, like the one that we actually lived in. I still remember painting the big iron gate in P2 with my sister and cousin, and getting into big trouble for painting their shirts xP and like all the bonfires there, and holding sticks of fire to burn all the red ants to death(: haha I sound so sadistic. I spent 4 days of the holidays back there repainting the gate, and hence got my sandal tan lines o.0, and every time we were hungry/thirsty we would beg my dad to pluck coconuts or eat the small ripe mangos. Ahh, I’m like missing the house already :/ shall try and find a picture of it one day when I’m free (:

We made one of the stupidest wishes ever; when we were innocent Year Ones, we just couldn’t wait to be a Year Four and wished to be one as soon as possible, and now, here it is. I still have the indiv notes our Sec 4 ma’ams gave us when we were in Sec 1, during Ecamp (:

Over the past 2.5 years, a lot of things have changed, from the way our year viewed Red Cross to the relationships. It seems like it was only yesterday that it was our Sec One Ecamp, and I can still remember our Sec4 ma’ams singing 月亮代表我的心; but yesterday was POP chalet, not our Sec1 Ecamp. It’s hard to believe that we’re Year Four now, and the next [and last] POP chalet that we will be going to, is ours.

As far as I can remember, our year always tries our best to keep the promises we make, but yesterday we broke a promise we made to ourselves. Back in 2006, when we just became Year Twos, we promised ourselves, that regardless of what, we would not cry during this POP. It seemed very easy back then, but obviously not so yesterday.

The memories of the times we spent together came flooding back, from T3Wk10 Monday, Sec1&2 Tcamp, Ecamp this year & all the trouble that came along with it, Sec3 Tcamp and last training this year. It’s really hard to imagine life without the ma’ams, as they have played a huge role in our Red Cross journey.

Somehow, I don’t know what to say anymore, cos words just can’t express what we feel.

And I, I will remember you <3

Last training was a BLAST! <3>i realised how thankful i am that the weather was fabulous for soaking AND for it was swimathon. to think of it, i dont want to know what would have happened if there wasn't swimathon :/

Before training was really messy, with like collecting $364 for photos [haha the number is still in my head!] And I was the first person to get soaked, cos smart sally carried the pail of water and slipped, drenching both Kz and I xD Novelty race was quite cool! I think the crawl-under-the-people-in-front game was the best, everyone else looked like they were giving birth or something o.0 I’m so glad our year didn’t have to do it, cos I don’t want to know what would have happened. Eeee yuck! And popping balloons is fun! especially with bare hands (:

Water games were the best! The idea of making everyone standing in a line was … and our year as innocent as not to think of revenge [yet!] Haha, jang came up with the coolest London Bridge game, but I think the bridges [us] normally got wetter than the people inside, haha. But I must say the funnest was afterwards. Our year never knows when to stop ehh, we could have saved our skins lahhh. Haha, Ain is a wonderful photographer – she caught more than 5 people dunking water on me with a WHOLE PAIL of water. Huh, and they were actually smiling lahh. Rawr, watch out! Haha, but our year sure had our share of fun too! I was quite screwed though, let’s just say from head-to-toe, dripping wet. AHHH and don’t have school shoes to wear tmrw, I think I shall kope from my sister.

It's been really fast, the past 5 weeks since we started on CAC, and now it's over. Sessions eating biscuits, trying to find power plugs xD and just talking complete rubbish, throughout the whole thing, we all had our fair share of hard work, and also fun and laughter :D yes, i must say that i have indeed enjoyed the experience, a lot!

I rarely blog about the things that happen to me in a day, but i think i shall just do it, for once! On Friday night, was studying, and spent 2 hours to find my cue card [even though i didn't need it, but it is very reassuring to have it (: stupid sally chan found it in her sister's drawer o.0] Then, i wanted to sleep at 11pm, but i was too worried/anxious and so i waited until 12 to ask my Dad when he finally got home, if he could fetch us.

Then it was Saturday, managed to get 6 hours of sleep before waking up all jittery again. urghhhs, i hate that feeling D: then, i was only meeting the team at 8am, so i spent the of my time reading the Bible, in an attempt to soothe my nerves xD then , at 8 went to AMK mrt, only to see the ma'ams sitting on the floor, who told me that the team was in the toilet! haha, everyone was waiting for shan in the toilet. [shall skip all the boring details]

Round 1 was quite fast, Sara did a really nice scream xD the FAQ was a bit short, and our smart team accidentally sprayed mosquito repellent into one of the Judges' nose o.0 Then the results. I was really really really scared that we would not make it, and so were the juniors, they kept on bouncing x) But when we did, it was like we could hear all the screams very loudly (: [and of course from us too!] I'm amazed at shan, on how she stays SO CALM. we [the rest of the team] practically ran upstairs to find our yearmates<3

Then round 2, let's say it was pretty interesting, and thank you supporters for keeping the scores! After round A of Round 2, we ended off feeling so inadequate, but the scores really cheered us up a lot. I think i'm quite slow, cos i took damn long to register that, and yearmates had to repeat it many many times. then for the part B, let's just say i'll remember that the Shop@RedCross is as Red Cross Campsite at Kembangan, 62 Jalan Khairuddin forever. Yes, we must never be complacent.

It's the first time i've ever gone for unit dinner, and im really glad my parents finally agreed to let me go ~~with great reluctance~~. Unit bonding/games were quite freakky. My leg is still really red x)our year owns in choosing the most secluded spots, with romantic orange lights! Maybe it was a bit too obvious that our year was very reluctant to leave, but ohwells. shall leave the rest for POP):

Thru the course of this whole competition, i'm really thankful for all the people who have helped us or supported us (:

Thanks Sec1s for coming down and cheering for us, and also giving us the notes (: haha, the drawings are all really pretty! Yep, and thank you Sec2s, for helping us on Friday too & coming down to support & the special Dark Chocolates. Yeah, and also the toys! [cake people and trees xD]

Thank you ma'ams,for all the support and faith you have in us. Even though we know we aren't the best team ever, thank you for coming down on Friday and Saturday, for giving us ideas, comments and a lot of encouragement! It's the small things you all do that we feel, such as giving us thumbs-up signs from the gallery and cheering for whatever funny answers we gave at round 2 and helping us carry our many things. Thank you for finally deciding to come down for Unit dinner/bonding too, cos it would have been really weird otherwise. Thank you Yinqi ma'am and Amdis ma'am, for all the tips you gave us!

AND yearmates! <3 you all loads (: Thank you for all the hours spent helping us, finding all the toys, reading our report and the sweets! Thanks Ain, for giving us a lot of feedback on how to speak and spending a whole afternoon with us, painting the toys! Thanks Jiun and Huanying for you emails, and finally, thanks Jang for calling everyone in PSB to swap your shift, just that you could come down and support us & also for your super encouraging phone call. haha, i'll remember "it's CAC only lah, polish you boots so long for what?" And kudos to the 3 yearmates for running to fish&co. to bag places so that we wouldnt have to wait for the queue. i dont know what to do without Ohana!<333

I was thinking about a question LPL asked us today, on how it felt to be in a non co-ed school. It’s been three years since I’ve been in a co-ed school, or primary school rather, and it just seems like a really long time, okay maybe it is [like 1/5 of my life time…] I sure know a lot of people who have only been to girls school for all their life, I wonder how’s that like too. Was reading Serene’s & Yihui’s blog, their life seems very very very different from ours, although it was pretty much the same a few years ago.

Today’s APCG FA duty started out with a long morning jog with Siti (: cos our bus stops apparently stopped at the other end of the botanic gardens, which was 20 minutes walk to the visitor centre! Why do you all have to freaggin assume everything? Does everyone have to have an ulterior motive for doing something? Why cant someone just do something purely for the experience and the fun of it? I'm getting really annoyed at all this rubbish. My eyes are like swollen and blotchy and I think they amount of vitamin C I’ve lost this two days is probably the same amount of what I’ve ever eaten. Why cant you all just look on the good side of people? So what if I spend a few mornings and a whole day on it? Why cant you see the other afternoons and the nights that I spend studying instead?

the list of things to do is non-exhaustive, and it's barely the third week of school. I think there is seriously something with the number 3. In sec3, the 3rd term sucks the most, with everything piled onto you. PTs, responsibilities, and the looming EYAs. And after all the hectic mess, it's sec4 already.

this year has passed at a very fast speed, and these few days, i dont even have time to think [yes, i know i like to waste time just sitting down and stoning into open space]. i spent 4 days typing out 18 pages of research, and then there is BIO PT. i'd like to think im done, but quite obviously i am not D: then SS PT, let's say, thank God i've started, like finally, but the draft is due on wednesday, so it's not like that helps either. then english orals/speech, chinese PT, math PT, CAC, and all the lessons that i've slept through.

In sec3, if you fall asleep in one lesson, you are lost until you can find time to understand what is going on, which is why i'm totally dead for Physics, Chem and Bio. Help me, anyone?
